Previously we have published about Google Meet and it’s features to compete with Zoom during this lockdown. Yesterday Google Update some settings in Gmail along with its new app Google Meet.
Since the lockdown going to be long nowadays, google meet come along with Gmail. You can directly start a meeting by click on “Start a meeting” even you can click on “Join a meeting” to start to join with your team.
How to start a meeting with Google Meet:
Step 1: Click on Start a meeting
Step 2: You’ll redirect to a private window where you can find 2 options.
- Join Now
Step 3: Click on Join now and you’ll find a unique meeting ID. You can share it with your team/ Friend to join.
Step 4: Either you share this code with your team or you can add people. Enter your team email ids and send an email.
Features of Google Meet:
- You can add as many of your team members. Only the host can add more team members.
- You can chat with your team members.
Google meet introduced Present now an option where you can share your entire screen, a window & a chrome tab.
You can share your entire screen through google meet. Your team member can visit your entire screen if you click on the entire screen.
Here you can share your private window with your friends. Select and share your private screen.
A chrome tab:
This is a new option added by google to share only a chrome window with your teams. You won’t share any other browser window in this option.
How to join a meeting:
Step 1: Click on Join a meeting
Step 2: Enter the meeting code to join a group or organizer group.
