After a lot of leaks and rumors, finally the OnePlus 8T is here officially. Yesterday (14th Oct 2020) OnePlus officially launched the OnePlus 8T. the 8T is the successor to the flagship OnePlus 8 which was launched earlier this year.
The OnePlus 8T comes with a new design. Its having a flat display on the front and on the back you will get a massive camera module. Its predecessor the OnePlus 8 was having a curved display but that thing is gone now. The back panel of the OnePlus 8T is now glossy. The phone doesn’t have a head phone jack (expected) and it doesn’t have any IP ratings.
OnePlus 8T Internals:
The phone is powered by Snapdragon 865 processor which was used in the OnePlus 8 as well. The 865 is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 built-in storage, under the hood. Also, this smartphone supports dual-mode 5G (SA/ NSA), thanks to the Snapdragon X55 modem onboard. The phone comes with Oxygen OS 11 based on the Android 11 platform.
At the back you are getting a big camera module. The module consists of a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, a 16MP wide-angle camera with a 123-degree FOV, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. Its having 2 LED flash at the back. The primary camera supports OIS. On the front, the phone has a 16 MP selfie camera.
The other highlights of the phone is 120HZ refresh display and the super fast 65W wrap charging support. The OnePlus 8T features a 6.55-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The phone has a 4500 mAh battery which can be charged from 0 to 100 in 39 mins with the help of new 65W fast charger. There are no 8T Pro variant this year.
OnePlus 8T Pricing:
The base variant (8GB + 128GB) is priced at Rs 42,999 whereas the higher-end model (12GB+256GB) is priced at Rs 45,999 in India. The phone will be available in 2 colors, Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver.
