Microsoft’s most anticipated product is finally ready to see light. The Surface Duo that was teased in October 2019 along with Surface Neo dual-screen tablet, Surface Laptop 3, Surface Pro 7, and the Surface Pro X is ready to be launched on September 10, 2020.
The device features two 5.6-inch OLED panels which will be the KSF for Microsoft. The Surface Duo will have a single 11 Megapixel camera that would act as both front and rear cameras. Further, a dedicated Stylus is said to be designed by Microsoft for the Surface. The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and 6GB of RAM along with 2 batteries with an overall capacity of 3577mAh.
The surface is not expected to come with 5G connectivity and can be connected to a full windows 10 experience on cloud. The device goes on sale in the US on 10 September, 2020 and the pre orders are already started through AT&T, Best Buy and Microsoft’s online store.
With a 10-month period from the unveiling to launch, a Price tag of $1399 and the unique implementation of the dual-screen, let’s see how the Surface, floats in the market.
