Theories like 5G communication helps spreading Corona Virus is completely fake and rubbish: Scientist community.
Recently one video got viral where mobile phone tower caught fire in Birmingham and Merseyside. The post got shared across all the social media platforms.
What was the theory:
People who are sharing the news that 5G, which is used in mobile networks radio wave signals are responsible for spreading the Corona Virus. This conspiracy theory came in late January when US registered its first Corona positive case.
There are 2 things which came into picture.
- 5G network can suppress human system and that’s why more people are getting affected by the virus.
- The virus can somehow be transmitted through 5G network.
Both these theories are completely rubbish says Dr Simon Clarke, who is an associate professor in cellular microbiology at the University of Reading.
Dr Simon Clarke says:
Very strong radio waves can cause heating, but 5h radio waves are not strong enough to heat people up. But [the energy levels from] 5G radio waves are tiny and they are nowhere near strong enough to affect the immune system. There have been lots of studies on this.”
The radio waves involved in 5G and other mobile technology sit on the low-frequency end of the spectrum. Less powerful than light, they’re not strong enough to wreck cells.
We all know that Corona Virus spreads from one affected person to a different person. Viruses and electromagnetic waves that make mobile phones and internet connections work are various things.
Even we have some cases from UK where the 5G connection has not been deployed yet. That’s why there is not a connection between 5G and thus the Corona Virus.
There were plenty of fake news regarding the 5G waves before the Corona Virus mishap happened.
As of now, we don’t have any solution for Corona Virus except self-prevention.
