Google removes 17 apps from Playstore


Google has just banned 17 apps from playstore as they were stealing user information. These removed 17 android apps were infected with malware.

These 17 apps were infected with joker malware and Zscaler, a California based IT security company identify these apps and report them to Google. These apps steal user’s information, SMS messages, contact list, saved passwords, and device information.

These apps included the following:

  • Tangram App Lock
  • Direct Messenger
  • One Sentence Translator
  • Multifunctional Translator
  • Style Photo Collage
  • Meticulous Scanner
  • Desire Translate
  • Talent Photo Editor – Blur focus
  • Unique Keyboard – Fancy Fonts & Free Emoticons
  • Hummingbird PDF Converter – Photo to PDF
  • All Good PDF Scanner
  • Blue Scanner
  • Care Message
  • Part Message
  • Private SMS
