When it comes to gaming the first thing comes to our mind is high end device. What if you can run the high-end games with your existing smartphones without spending extra for a high-end device. With the services like Google Stadia and GeForce Now already available, its going to be the next big thing in the gaming industry.
What is Cloud Gaming?
Cloud Gaming refers to using cloud servers to run the games. You don’t need to run the games on the local device rather the games will run in cloud servers and you can access it from the cloud. Essentially, the goal is to make high-end gaming experiences simpler and cheaper to access.
- No need of high end devices to run the games.
- It allows allows users to play any game on any device with a screen and an internet connection.
How Cloud Gaming works?
Rather setting up the whole hardware for the game like a gaming PC / Console, you just have to have a good internet connection and a normal device then rest of the things will be done by your cloud gaming servers.
When you start a game, the game will be started in the cloud gaming servers and you just have to access it through the internet. A server acts like a high-powered PC somewhere and does that for you, streaming a feed of the game from tens or hundreds of miles away.
Recently Airtel has done a testing with its 5G network to give the Cloud Gaming experience in India.
